Over a period of four years, Rolf + Karina were lovers and photographers who dedicated their open relationship to awakening Consciousness -- in themselves, each other, and those they interacted with. Having released themselves from traditional social structures such as a permanent home, a job, or exposure to mainstream media, they moved from one place, and experience, to the next. Their agreed focus was on freedom, the present moment, on staying connected, and on continually updating their individual, and shared, preferences and choices. Astonished by the extraordinary levels of bliss and gratitude their intentional relationship produced in their day-to-day experience, Rolf + Karina created this blog to create a living forum for sharing the experiences which brought new awareness. Their first book publication, “CAMERAS AT BREAKFAST” is a photography book revealing images of their intimate life together. They have also been working on a yet unfinished book about the discoveries and practices which supported their conscious relationship. Although the two still love each other, Rolf + Karina are now living their lives separately. This website remains a tribute to the beauty and growth they experienced together, and an inspirational offering for those interested in allowing their relationship to serve as a vehicle for awakening.
